Tuesday, February 25, 2025, the last match of the first qualifying phase of the Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Countries (CONCACAF) for the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup, which will take place in Poland in the summer of 2026, our Grenadières at the top of Group A faced the "Golden Jaguars" on the field of the Abfa Technical Center against the Guyana selection in a crucial match for their qualification to the next phase.

Unfortunately, despite their determination displayed from the kick-off and a slight domination, our Grenadières came up against a solid defense of the "Golden Jaguars" of Guyana and failed to realize their playing opportunities.

At half-time the score was [0-0] and still left intact the hopes of qualifying for Haiti.

On returning from the locker room, Myanne Fernandes at the 58th minute following a major failure of the Haitian defense opened the score [0-1] for Guyana.

Plunging our girls into worry...

Despite several attempts to equalize, and the repeated efforts of the Grenadières, they were unable to find the flaw in the solid defense of the very disciplined "Golden Jaguars", who, let's recall, have not conceded a single goal in 3 matches (2 wins and a draw)
